Em nome da CGTP-IN e dos trabalhadores que representamos, enviamos a nossa calorosa solidariedade às organizações sindicais e aos trabalhadores da Grécia que, no dia 15 de Dezembro, organizam mais uma importante greve geral que é uma firme expressão da resistência dos trabalhadores e povo gregos contra as políticas anti-laborais e anti-sociais impostas pelo vosso governo e pela União Europeia. Ainda recentemente recebemos também a solidariedade dos trabalhadores e sindicatos gregos para com a greve geral que realizámos em Portugal no passado dia 24 de Novembro, a qual constituiu um grande êxito e um importante contributo para a resistência e luta dos trabalhadores no nosso país contra políticas semelhantes às que estão a ser aplicadas na Grécia e em outros países europeus. Desejamos grande êxito à vossa greve geral e reafirmamos a importância do incremento da luta dos trabalhadores e dos povos contra as medidas restritivas e anti-sociais que visam fazer pagar a crise aos trabalhadores e ás camadas mais desfavorecidas da população, enquanto se mantêm intocáveis os lucros e os privilégios do grande capital e dos especuladores, que são os responsáveis pela actual situação. On behalf of the CGTP-IN and of the workers we represent, we convey our warm solidarity to the trade union organisations and workers of Greece who, on December 15th, organise another very important general strike which is a concrete testimony of the Greek workers and people’s resistance against the anti-worker and anti-social policies imposed by your government and by the European Union. Only recently we also received solidarity of the Greek workers and unions with the general strike that you organised in Portugal on the 24 of November, which was very successful and gave an important contribution to the resistance and struggle of workers in our country against policies that are similar to those being implemented in Greece and other European countries. We wish you great success in your general strike and we affirm the importance of upgrading the struggle of workers and peoples against restrictive and anti-social measures that aim at making the workers and the poor layers of society pay for the crisis, while the profits and privileges of big capital and of the speculators, who are responsible for the current situation, are kept untouched.
